Havergale Hall (image 1) in Fleming Road, built in 1895 as a nonconformist mission hall, became the meeting place of Swaythling Baptists in 1925. In 1958 a new Baptist Chapel (image 2), designed by architect Martyn Collins and built by local firm J. J. Udall and Company, was opened, also in Fleming Road.
