St Denys Methodist Church
This Primitive Methodist congregation initially met in an upper room in a house in Priory Road and it was not until 1866 that a permanent church was built in the same road. The building was later extended into Ivy Road, and registered for worship 24 January 1885. It became St Denys Methodist Church in 1933. The church closed down in 1969 and the site was sold to the New Testament Church of God in May 1971 for £7,500.
