Say, Samuel
The 17th century dissenting minister was born at Castle Green in Southampton in March 1676. After attending schools in Southwick and Norwich, he trained for the ministry at the academy of Thomas Rowe in London, where Isaac Watts was his fellow student and intimate friend.
