Regent Street is a modern street, dating from the early 19th century, replacing the stretch of ancient Canshut Lane between Above Bar Street and Portland Terrace.

A 19th century court off the middle of Regent Street, and reached by a lane.
Regent Place
A 19th century court off Regent Street, on the north side of the road at the west end.
