A medieval farm on the east side of the Avenue between Rockstone Lane to the south and Westwood Road to the north. The farmhouse stood on the site later occupied by Bevois Mount Lodge – on the north side of modern-day Lodge Road - and the irregular east boundary ran vaguely in the vicinity of Cedar Road. The extent of the farm was between 36 to 46 acres. In the early 18th century, the farm was merged with lands in St Denys by Charles Mordaunt, third Earl of Peterborough, to form Bevois Mount estate.
