Mount Beulah
This house stood on the south-west side of Romsey Road, south of Redbridge Hill, with grounds reaching down to Oakley Road (Mousehole lane). Josiah Stidden Roe, son of William Henry Roe, and from 1853 owner of Shirley House, lived at Mount Beulah in the late 19th century. Beulah Road, which is situated to the south east of the house, was named after the house.
