A traditional mill pond constructed on the Sholing / St. Mary's Extra boundary at the confluence of two anonymous streams to serve a mill formerly situated near the modern Lawrence Close, on the eastern outskirts of Woolston. The pond was once of considerable size and crescent shape, with a second distinct pond upstream of the northern arm. It has now been drained.
