Southampton City Council Archaeology Unit recorded work at 84-88 Millbrook Road East in 2016. The excavation found some mediaeval pottery and then industrial use - possible cattle food factory in the nineteenth century, then a bottling factory in the early twentieth century and a mineral water and fruit squash factory until the 1970s.
