Midlyngton Tower
Midlyngton Tower was the 15th century name for the 14th century tower over West Gate. It was named after Thomas Midlyngton, who was mayor in 1401-3, and presumably a former owner or occupier.

Midlyngton’s Wharf
A wharf constructed by the same Thomas Midlyngton after whom Midlyngton Tower was named. Its exact location is not known but was probably near the Watergate.
