Manchester Street - Sotonopedia

Manchester Street, originally known as Beckford Terrace, formerly ran from Above Bar Street to Western Esplanade just to the north of Ogle Road. It disappeared when the Marlands Shopping Centre was built over the site in 1987. Built as residential properties in the mid-19th century, most of the buildings were converted to office use in the 20th century.
