The old indoor public baths and outdoor lido, built in 1892 by George Brinton, were situated on Western Esplanade opposite Weymouth Terrace. The main building which housed the indoor baths was demolished in the 1960s. The outdoor pool survived until the 1970s. The National Express coach station now occupies the site.
