This is represented today only by Kingsbridge Lane and the tradition of the 19th century Kingsbridge and Kingsfield Houses. Presumably there was a field belonging to the king in the vicinity. It can almost certainly identified with the "close of pasture land" cited as a bound in a lease of 1645.
