Junction Inn
This public house stands on the corner of Priory Road and Adelaide Road, near St Denys station which is at the junction of the London and Weymouth main line and the Portsmouth line. The original building, dating from the mid-19th century, was built on an L-shaped plan, but a single-storey bar was built in the angle in the late 19th century.
It may have been called the Wareham Arms in the 1860s when Thomas Flood was the landlord, but it was renamed the Junction before 1878, when it was shown as a beer house on the 1878 Drink Map. It was badly damaged by fire in 2012. It is Grade II listed.
