Ivy House (or Ivy Cottage) stands on the south side of Old Redbridge Road near the Ship Inn. It is an L-shaped house dating from the 17th century although the frontage is mid-18th century. It is built of brick painted white. In 1999 it was in a state of severe disrepair when it was purchased by Warwick Developments and restored with the help of the city council's Heritage Department (see clipping below). The restoration work involved dividing it into two separate dwellings. It is now Grade II listed.
