A passageway linking St Mary Street with St Mary's Place and Hoglands, named after John Butler Harrison who lived in a large house abutting the passageway to the south.

This lane running from Winchester Road to Anglesea Road in Shirley was named after Jabez Harrison, a 19th century nurseryman with premises in Anglesea Road, Shirley. The lane originally ran alongside his property.
