An early 19th century office building in Ogle Road. It was demolished in 1959 to make way for the Inner Ring Road. Haddon Hall in Derbyshire, one of the seats of the Dukes of Rutland, is often described as the most complete surviving Medieval house in England. There is no obvious connection between the two buildings. Perhaps the naming of the Southampton building was an ironic comment on its dilapidated condition.
