Guillaume Terrace
Formerly ran from Albert Road to Royal Crescent. It commemorates George Guillaume, appointed in 1846 as the corporation's surveyor to lay out and build over the Saltmarsh area. His later plans for converting the former lammas lands in the town centre into public parks was also adopted by the council. Guillaume Terrace disappeared when the Itchen Bridge was built in the 1970s.
