A 13th century name for a lane nine feet wide leading from Bugle Street to Western Shore about halfway between Westgate Street and Blue Anchor Lane. In the 14th century it was called Mounes Lane and Merserys Lane. In the early 15th century it had become a vacant plot, not a thoroughfare.
