Built in the late 19th century, originally for the London and South Western Railway (the central pediment still contains the initials L.S.W.R.), but later taken over by the Dart Container Line, hence the name. It is situated on the south side of Canute Road to the west of Canute Chambers. The building has been converted into apartments and is now named Maritime Chambers. It is Grade II listed.
