Cossack Place
Cossack Place (image 1) was a 19th century court opening on to the north side of Winton Street, west of and parallel with Cossack Street. It was built in c.1820 and demolished in the late 1930s.
Cossack Street
Cossack Street (image 2), which dates back to before 1820, formerly ran from North Front to South Front in Kingsland. The houses were demolished in the late 1930s as part of a slum clearance scheme. Cossack Green was later constructed on the site.
Cossack Yard
This was a piece of land adjoining the Cossack Inn on the corner of Cossack Street and Winton Street, on which a pig market was held in the 19th century.
