An acre-strip in Payland, the medieval name for the triangle of land between what is now London Road, Brunswick Place and St Mary’s Road. The strip is described as extending from the highway to the ditch of Welcrofte, so it was presumably situated on the east side of London Road and Bellevue Terrace.
