Christ Church, Northam
Northam's original parish church was built in Graham Road in 1854, and was known as Christchurch, Northam. However, this church was susceptible to flooding, and was perpetually in a poor state of repair. St Augustine's Church was built in 1884 to replace the older church, which was demolished in the 1880s.
