This was the 13th century name of a capital tenement on the east side of English Street and apparently (though not certainly) in Holy Rood parish. The evidence from the cartulary of St Denys is that it appears to have occupied the site of the original (south) block of the Dolphin hotel. However, this flatly contradicts the findings of the Reverend Sylvester Davies and Paul Studer that La Bulehuse was the predecessor of Bull Hall.
