Benham's Farm
Benham’s was a mid 19th century farmhouse in the vicinity of Witt’s Hill, north east of Mousehole Lane. It is not known how old the farm was or who the original Benham may have been. In the 1840s the farm was owned by William Witt, whose family gave the name to Witts Hill. The Farmhouse was converted to a private dwelling in the 20th century. Benhams Road is named after the farm.
