Bargate Street
Bargate Street runs west from the southern end of Above Bar Street and immediately north of the Bargate. It formerly ran all the way to Western Shore Road or Western Esplanade but now terminates at Portland Terrace. It occupies the whole width of the medieval north west ditches and later two parallel streets, Orchard Street (south) and Coldharbour Lane (north).
