Armorer's Tower
A 15th century name for a square tower on the town’s east wall. The tower was the fourth tower south of the East Gate and appears to have been situated a little south of modern-day Bernard Street. The name was derived from Thomas Armorer, an early 15th century occupier of an adjacent property.
